Marvel Heroes MMORPG Comes To Comic-Con

Comic-con starts in San Diego, CA on July 12th and continues until July 15th and Marvel Heroes has announced it will be at the show. Marvel Heroes is a free-to-play MMO action RPG for the PC, created by David Brevik who created Diablo. The core gameplay elements of Diablo will be combined with the expansive Marvel Universe of Superheroes to bring players one step closer to the comic book heroes they know and love.

Players can collect and play heroes such as Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Captain America, Wolverine, Hulk, Cable, Colossus, Scarlet Witch, Emma Frost, Deadpool, Cyclops, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Spiderman, Thing, and Storm. The demo being shown at Comic-con will include 4 heroes, Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine and Scarlet Witch.

In Gazillion Entertainment”s newest offering, players will be able to team up online with their friends and thousands of others in non-instanced towns with vendors, public quests, and even cars that can be picked up and tossed around by the stronger heroes. Hulk smash anyone?

The story centers around Doctor Doom who is at it again, this time with a reality-altering device called the Cosmic Cube. He plans to use it against the unsuspecting mortals of earth in a story penned by comic writer Brian Michael Bendis.
Like Diablo, players will be able to smash open in-game environment items at will to collect loot that fountains across the randomly generated maps and levels. Players will only be able to see their own loot eliminating the need/greed rolls by everyone in a group. Participation in public If you think that there is doubt in the purity of your urine, you may use Synthetic quick fix urine as a substitute of your natural urine. quests will also guarantee loot only shown to the player who gets it. Bosses will be instanced for the most part, and their loots will consist of items that give stat enhancements, and possibly an ability pertaining to the bosses origin.

This new MMORPG offers deep customization, 4 powers on the action bar that players can swap out on the fly, and even heroes that can be swapped out. However, swapping out heroes will have a short time delay. Players can use their in-game loot to not only change their appearance and gear but also their powers, with upgrades galore. Players can change their costume with either elements, which give you the stats, or patterns which give you the look.

A point and click movement similar to Diablo”s will allow players to traverse the random maps, and attacking looks like it will also be based off the same controls players have become familiar with in the Diablo series.

With an expansive library of heroes to choose from and collect, decent graphics, and a loot system that”s time tested and true, this will surely be a F2P PC title to watch at Comic-con and beyond!
